Stunning Fightback as Nash draw with in-form Pilgrims

Ian Culverhouse’s Boston were pegged back late on by a Devon Matthews power header.
First-Half
The Pilgrims would begin the game on top as Deji Sotona brought the ball down in the box, firing high into the side-netting. The visitors would respond shortly after as Rhys Hughes latches onto a Jordan Richards cross from the right, forcing a magnificent save down low by Aaron Chapman. Sam Smart whipped a ball in from the right, finding Jimmy Knowles at the far post, who heads past Cam Mason to open the scoring, 1-0. Sam Smart would attempt to get his own name on the scoresheet as shaped to shoot from range, with his effort rising just above the cross bar. Jimmy Spencer would look to form a Nash response, hitting a outside of the boot effort just wide.
Second-Half
Jacob Hazel would have another attempt to beat Cam Mason as he went through one-on-one with the Nash shot stopper, but unable to find a way past him. Jordan Richards would fashion an equaliser for the visitors as he swung in a free kick from the right, finding the head of Devon Matthews, who powers the ball past Aaron Chapman, making it two from two against the Pilgrims this season, 1-1. The Pilgrims skipper Michael Bostwick attempted to restore the hosts lead as he hit from just outside the area but only finding Cam Mason’s gloves. Newly subbed on Kelsey Mooney found himself in behind the Nash backline, attempting to fire low past Cam Mason but unable to.
